My family keeps saying Den Hagg, but the textbooks keep saying Amsterdam. Could you please tell me? Anyone can answer y’know. I’d prefer a Dutch to answer, though.
This meal will cost Euro 50 per person and also from an advertisement, it says that it is Chinese and Indonesian food. I mean.. if I were to travel that far to Amsterdam, is this meal really that worth it that I should go try it? I can get Chinese and Indonesian food easily when I travel to Asia. I will appreciate comments from ppl who have tried the Sea Palace.
Husband bring you home some from Wal mart too?
Going for a long weekend wondering what to pack? Im guessing it will be quite cold?
I’m traveling from the US to amsterdam next week and I wanted to know how the tulip bloom is right now and what the weather is like.
Thanks!
There’s a whole lot of factors that will prevent us from giving you an answer to that question. Do you plan to include air fare? What airline? When would travel be? What class?
Where would you stay? Hotel? Hostel? Would you be happy with simple meals, or do you enjoy a full restaurant meal? Do you buy a lot of souvenirs?
i’m going to amsterdam in january for a day and am going to take the train from the airport to the centaal station. i would really like to go to the house of anne frank. is it within walking distance? if not how should i get there? how long does it take, on average, to go through it and watever? prices? any info u can give me on the house of anne frank would be great

I can’t tell you how many Indians are in Amsterdam as expats and I doubt that info is readily available, but it is true that the numbers are increasing. Indeed I have a friend/colleague of my husband (but in Den Haag) who is here working as an expat and would dearly like to stay longer than his contact allows.
I just moved from Amsterdam/Amstelveen last year and even in the last year, I did notice many more Indians e.g. in the branch of my bank, or the local supermarkets. Ironically I noticed many of them were males and very few females – I do wonder sometimes why this is but have never asked :0)
There is a good expat site which he uses and in the forum, there is a section for Indians specifically. This is a small community for Indians living in the Netherlands (not just Amsterdam) http://forum.expatica.com/India-Forum-f1…
Good luck
